He signs off every parcel with a perfect bow and a wink of cinnamon. (Ribbon curls? You bet.) He once wrapped a snow shovel for Timmy Turtle – and made it look like a sleigh! Amuseables Peanut ‘Après Ski’ skis like he was born on the slopes. (He wasn’t, of course. He was born in a shell, in fairly flat terrain – but we don’t talk about that.) She may be pocket-sized, but Little Penguin has big dreams. Mountainous, actually. One day, she’ll be a world-famous geologist, swapping snowdrifts for lava flows and ski season for volcanic activity. (There are only so many frozen pebbles a little bird can collect.) For now, though, she’s perfecting her climb on the nearest snow pile – and taking frequent naps in between. Chip Seagull’s promised to look for flights to Hawaii. Until then, she’s keeping her suitcase packed.
